Each semester, our consulting teams are paired with an industry partner, undertaking a project with tangible real-world impact. The nature of our projects varies, from app development, market research, hardware prototyping, or training machine learning models, just to name a few.
Developed a mobile game to pair with Neurode’s headset. Headset records the gaming data and shows visualizations and neurological info afterwards. Games activate core cognitive functions and mentally engage the user. Built an eye-tracking Python workflow that can be integrated to Neurode's headsets.
Anomaly Detection Project: statistical testing (visualize distributions, run statistical tests for dataset features, etc.) & unsupervised clustering (apply dimensionality reduction on raw feature data, run K-mean clustering on the reduced-dimensional data, & visualize the new clusters)
Developed a website for Clarity’s VR and therapeutic tool. Website used to display final results of VR treatment. Show patient info, spectrograms, and other graphs from stimulations in the experiment.
Developed website that predicts music genres from EEG data for user focus. Runs different musical genres and maximizes the probability of focus throughout the experiment.
Built Proof of concept for a gyroscope in Neurable’s EEG headsets. Built amplitude-based classifiers for different movements. Worked on EEG Data Processing Pipeline, data Smoothing and dimensionality reduction. PCA and ICA on the EEG data.
Developed visualizations for two pathways on Neuroscape’s optimized treatment for patients with PTSD and depression. Biopath: Non-brain signals (muscle, heart, eye tracking, etc.). Biosemi: High-density EEG.
Assistance in building Neurofit’s new product and headset. Worked with Dr. Quinn Kennedy and Dr. Dorion Liston to design mockup sketches of the Pathways app & spent two semesters working with iPad's ARKit signals.
Launched two software tools to be used in Neurable’s public demos of their BCI headset. Developed real-time visualization on EEG data & configurable electrode heatmap based on impedance threshold values.
Development of real-time EEG neurofeedback game using Unity3D. Included EEG streaming infra for real-time ML processing & visualizations of raw data, spectrograms, and various cognitive features.
